Samuel F. Church (1879-1917), Architect
Samuel Church was born on May 18, 1879 in Fairmont, Nebraska, to Andrew and Susan Church.[2] In his short lifetime, Church was an architect and delineator experienced in patent and commercial drawing, initially working in Lincoln.[2] He spent eight years working in California, eighteen months of which he worked for the architectural department of the Panama-Pacific Exposition.[2] While in California, Church contracted typhoid fever, recovering, but falling ill again and eventually dying of the sickness in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, at age 38.[2]
