Summary

The Minne Lusa Residential Historic District is comprised of small to mid-sized homes planned and built by developer C.W. Martin between 1915 and 1927, with designs for many homes attributed to architect Everett S. Dodds. The neighborhood consists primarily of bungalow and craftsman house forms in a variety of architectural styles, and is a classic example of the evolution of suburban residential neighborhoods during the transition from streetcars to automobiles as the primary form of transportation.
