James Pearsall (1842-1928), Architect
James Pearsall was born on May 26, 1842 in Shannonville, Ontario, Canada to Sarah Valleau and Amos Pearsall. Pearsall immigrated to Nebraska in 1873. He worked in Columbus, first as a carpenter, then as a farmer and contractor. In 1867, Pearsall married Isabelle Gonsalus. They had two sons, Charles and Earl. In 1920, Pearson moved to Omaha to spend his retirement with his son's family.[1][2][3][4] James Pearsall died on April 19, 1928 in Omaha.[4]
