Description = Governor David Butler House (1869). "Residence of Hon. David Butler, 1st Gov. of Nebraska; Erection 1870; Residence of F. W. Hohmann 1882-1894. Photo given by F. W. Hohmann Febr. 14, 1939, from the collection of his brother, C. H. Hohmann." John Keys Winchell (1841-1877), Architect [D. Murphy]. Albumen photo ca. 1880-1885 [John E. Carter] The photograph was taken before the Frear Stone veneer and window hoods were removed and replaced with brick veneer. This image has been rotated and cropped from the original for presentation purposes.
