Headline: St. Francis Academy, Columbus, Nebraska

Description: St. Francis Academy and St. Bonaventure School, Columbus, Nebraska. Br. Adrian (Anthony) Wewer, O. F. M. (1836-1914), Carpenter-Architect. The view shows the original 1877-1878 school at center, and the additions in the same style, after which it was known as St. Francis Academy. Another, 1909-1910 addition also followed the original style, but was the work of Columbus architect Charles Wurdeman.
