Claude Kenneth Camblin (1879-1954), Architect
Claude K. Camblin was born October 19, 1879.[1] He attended the Atlantic, Iowa, Grammar and High School from 1889-1901, after which he attended the Iowa State College of Engineering from 1901-1903. Camblin continued his education for a year at the International Correspondence School, 1903-1904. After college, he worked a short stint as a tracer and timekeeper for P. J. Creedon & Sons, Architects in Omaha. He then worked at various other Omaha companies until moving back to Lincoln in 1929, where he became a designer for Meginnis & Schaumberg, Architects. In 1938, Camblin became a Registered Professional Architect in Nebraska.[1] He ended his career with Leo A. Daly Company, Architects in Omaha.
Camblin died August 25, 1954 in Omaha.[2] He was a member of the United Presbyterian Church of Omaha.[2]
