Paul Gillespie was born April 26, 1884.[1] He studied engineering and business before graduating from the University of Illinois with a degree in Architecture.[1] He moved around for a while then settled in Omaha, spending most of his life working as an architectural draftsman.[1] Gillespie was married to Vera.[2] They had one daughter and three grandchildren.[2] Gillespie died in 1958 at the age of 74.[2]
