Leichester A. Hyde ( -1976), Architect
Leichester A. Hyde practiced architecture throughout the United States. He earned his architectural degree from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, then did graduate work at Columbia University.[2] He worked with Davis & Wilson, Architects in Lincoln; with Aymar Embury II in New York; with Dwight James Baum in New York; with John Gaw Meem in Santa Fe, New Mexico; with FHA New Mexico; and with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Hyde belonged to the Professional Advisory Council at the University of Nebraska College of Architecture in the Area of Excellence Program, which was established in the year before his death.[1] He was also a trustee of the University of Foundation and the Lincoln Foundation.[2]
