Rex Staal Helleberg (1928-2004), Architect
Rex Staal Helleberg was born on September 9, 1928 in Kearney to John and Elena (Staal) Helleberg. He received his Master's in Architecture at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. He joined the prolific Kearney firm of his father and brother, Helleberg & Helleberg, Architects. In 1989, Helleberg moved to Pennsylvania where he taught architecture and did architectural consulting. Rex He married Marilyn in 1969, and they had two sons and a daughter. Helleberg died November 18, 2004 in Pennsylvania.[2]
