Hugh Montgomery McClure was born on August 27, 1889 in Bladen, Nebraska. He worked as a architect in and around Kearney, Nebraska for much of his life. He produced many public buildings for Kearney and nearby cities, including school buildings, courthouses, and swimming pools.[2]
