Rolland H. Smith (1902-1986), Architect & Engineer
Rolland H. Smith joined his father John R. Smith's architectural practice in 1922 and they operated as John R. Smith & Son until the mid-1930s. Rolland married Clarissa Bucklin, daughter of Lincoln photographer George W. Bucklin, in 1933.[1] Rolland and his family moved to Pennsylvania after WWII and he was listed in the U. S. Census of 1950 as a mechanical engineer for a "manufactory & design company" in Marple, Pennsylvania.[2] He died in East Granby, Connecticut in August, 1986.[3]
