Dell F. Allen was listed as an architect in Omaha directories for only the years 1911-1912. In 1913 he was listed as a clerk, and then was not listed again, in either the business or the personal sections, until 1929. He is, however, credited with a house design in 1916 building permits. Nothing more is known of this elusive individual, who did not appear in the Omaha census data for 1910 or 1920.[[#Notes|[a]]]
